CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBG) today announced that it has acquiredEnvironmental Systems, Inc. (ESI), a leading systems integrator and providerof energy management services in the United States. ESI develops innovative solutions that enable commercial property occupiersand owners to efficiently manage their building systems and remotely monitorand analyze energy usage in real time to identify and achieve potentialsavings. ESI is providing analytics-driven managed services on over 180million sq. ft. of facilities at over 2,800 sites throughout the U.S. "ESI complements our existing suite of facilities-related outsourcingservices. Our clients increasingly look to us to leverage new and existingcontrols -- and the data that can be extracted from systems -- and remotemonitoring to drive greater energy efficiency," said Bill Concannon, chiefexecutive officer, Global Corporate Services, CBRE.
