The culmination of one of the most exciting sporting events in the world is coming when the Final Four invades Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis IN. The 2015 NCAA men's basketball tournament has been one filled with excitement, buzzer-beaters, and of course, upsets. Throughout the dozens of games held, brackets have been busted, superstars have been made, and future professional products have been seen. In the end, it will be just be down to the four teams that advanced through their regional bracket with the hopes of winning the national championship.
Over the years, the Final Four has been taken over by a single player doing whatever his team needed to do to win. Last year, this was evident when the University of Connecticut Huskies were led through the tournament by Shabazz Napier and UConn fans would remember the same effort put forth by Kemba Walker on their way to the championship in 2011. This year, there have been plenty of players leading the way for their teams through the first several rounds including Frank Kaminsky, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Jahlil Okafor.
The national semifinals will be held on April 4 when the representatives from the Midwest and West brackets collide, as well as the winners of the East and South brackets. The winner of those two games will meet on April 6 for the national championship.
Lucas Oil Stadium is the home of the Indianapolis Colts from the National Football League and will be a great home to the national semifinals and the national championship games. Located in downtown Indy, the seating can be expanded for basketball games to more than 70,000 fans. Despite only being opened since 2008, the venue has hosted countless memorable events including the Super Bowl and was already the home of the Final Four in 2010 when Duke won the championship.
