California First National Bancorp (NASDAQ: CFNB) today announced net earnings of $1.7 million for the first quarter ended September 30, 2010, down 52% from $3.5 million earned during the first quarter of fiscal 2010. Diluted earnings per share for the first quarter of $0.16 compared to $0.34 per share reported for the same period of the prior year.
