Bill Ackman of Pershing Square Capital spoke at the Value Investing Congress, and said that the banks have marked down their books much more aggressively than in the past.He mentioned Citigroup (NYSE: C) and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) as being two examples who have marked down books tremendously.
