ChannelAdvisor Corp (NYSE: ECOM) tumbled in Monday's extended session after the company's preliminary fourth-quarter revenue fell short of expectations.

The company traded recently at $15.90, down more than 24 percent.

ChannelAdvisor, which provides cloud-based e-commerce software to retailers, expects fourth-quarter revenue of $23.7 million, versus its earlier outlook for revenue between $25.6 million and $26.1 million.

Analysts expected revenue of $25.9 million.

Chief Executive Scot Wingo blamed the shortfall on a shift to larger customers that obtain volume discounts from the company.

The company expects to post full fourth-quarter results February 5.
