Heading into the final days of 2014, the stocks below were nearing all-time highs.

Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) recently traded on Monday at $75.23, up 0.23 percent.

Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) was recently traded at $79.25, up 1.38 percent.

Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) recently traded at $95.33, up 0.30 percent.

Home Depot Inc (NYSE: HD) recently traded at $104.18, up 0.41 percent.

Darden Restaurants, Inc. (NYSE: DRI) recently traded at $58.83, up 0.74 percent.

TJX Companies Inc (NYSE: TJX) recently traded at $68.28, up 0.34 percent.

Looking back over the last 10 years, TJX was also the biggest gainer, up 448 percent. While TJX did well over the long term, year-to-date it is up 7.26 percent while the S&P 500 is up 13.16 percent.

Year-to-date, Nordstrom came in first among the above group with a 28 percent gain, but Disney and Home Depot were not far behind.
