Noble Corporation (NYSE: NE) todayannounced the results of a special meeting of shareholders of NobleCorporation held on December 22, 2014. At the meeting, shareholders approved aproposal authorizing the Company to purchase from time to time up to37,000,000 ordinary shares or approximately 15 percent of the Company'soutstanding ordinary shares. The authority conferred by passage of thisproposal will expire on the later of 16 months after the meeting date or theend of the Company's 2016 annual general meeting of shareholders. The Companyhas the right to begin, suspend or discontinue share repurchases at any timeduring the 16-month authorization. The Company can give no assurancesregarding the number of shares that will ultimately be repurchased or thetiming of such repurchases.
