Did Mark Cuban Really Finalize A Game-Changing Trade At The Colbert Report?

Leave it to the Dallas Mavericks eccentric and outspoken owner to pull off a game-changing trade for his team while at Comedy Central studios.At least that's according to Keith Olbermann, who was among several guests at Stephen Colbert's final taping of "The Colbert Report."

The Mavericks on Thursday afternoon traded for Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo. Dallas is among a handful of many teams trying to separate itself from the rest of the pack in the NBA's Western Conference. As reported by ESPN, "The Celtics are sending the All-Star point guard and forward Dwight Powell to Dallas for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and draft picks. Boston will also receive a conditional first-round pick in the 2015 draft and a second-rounder in 2016, as well as a $12.9 million trade exception."Colbert's nine-year run on "The Colbert Report" came to an end Thursday night. He will take over hosting duties from David Letterman on CBS Corporation's (NYSE: CBS) "Late Show" some time in 2015.
