Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFOP) today announced its preliminary net sales for the quarter ending September 30, 2010. These results are subject to change as a result of final management review and closing adjustments for the quarter ending on September 30, 2010. For the 3rd quarter of 2010, the Company expects to report net sales above $13 million, which is another record for quarterly sales for AFOP and exceeds the previously issued revenue guidance announced in the 2nd quarter conference call.This revenue level represents approximately 91% growth compared with the year ago quarter. In the meantime, gross margin should improve to be above 35%, which would result in the Company's delivering record quarterly operating profits of above $2 million as well.
