Nevada Gaming Revenues Fall In October

The Nevada Gaming Control Board released gaming revenues for the month of October on Wednesday.

According to the press release, “Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $913,643,061 for the month of October 2014.

“This amounts to a 4.26 percent decrease compared to October 2013, when licensees reported a gaming win of $954,319,750.

“For the fiscal year (July 1, 2014 through October 31, 2014), gaming win has decreased 3.29 percent.”

Gaming stocks were mixed after the news release. Penn National Gaming, Inc (NASDAQ: PENN) fell 0.86 percent to $13.01 and Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN) fell 0.62 percent to $176.91.
