Tesla Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) may have dropped plans to take part in the Singles' Day Car Shopping Festival via Tmall, according to sources as reported by Shanghai's National Business Daily via WantChinaTimes. That collaboration is said not to be in line with the company's original car delivery rules.According to the Tmall web site, sales and leasing of Tesla cars have not been suspended. Tesla says it has provided 18 cars for the Tmall sale, with 7 sold so far. A report on Thursday, said that only 1,000 of 3,500 Tesla cars imported into China, had been sold.Tesla shares closed Friday at $240.20, a loss of $1.02.
