NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today that it was awarded three firm-fixed price task orders and one cost-plus-fixed-fee task order aggregating $10.9 million under the Total Engineering and Information Systems (TEIS) III contract for IT services in support of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC). These task orders represent both new and follow-on work for NCI at U.S. Army locations worldwide, and each task order consists of a 12-month base period and one option year. For the Military Construction Army (MCA) and Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (SRM) Programs, NCI will continue providing design reviews for MCA and SRM programs that will impact every new and renovated facility in the U.S. Army. NCI also will ensure IT components meet applicable U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal standards. For the U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency, NCI will provide enterprise-level information assurance support services and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process support. NCI will provide security engineering assistance to support the Enterprise Information Technology Project Management Office's Medical Research Information Technology System, an IT system of systems that centralizes collaborative data for the medical community. The U.S. Army's Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems will continue to receive NCI's onsite quality control and engineering support. “These awards continue NCI's relationship with USAISEC and support our corporate focus on providing critical information assurance and medical IT support to DoD,” said Brian J. Clark, NCI's president. “We are honored to provide these services to ensure the IT infrastructure and critical needs of U.S. Army facilities worldwide are capable of supporting today's warfighters with their ever-evolving network requirements.”
