Shares of SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWRA) are higher on the session by 3.91%, currently trading at $12.50. The stock has been moving largely lower over the past six months, selling off at the 50-day moving average a number of times. The stock is currently trading at the 50-day moving average. Options traders are buying upside calls on the name. A short while ago the October $13 and $14 strikes were both purchased 2,800 times, majority on the offer; volume exceeded open interest on both strikes. So far today, 7,000 calls have traded versus only 141 puts. SunPower Corporation is a vertically integrated solar products and services company that designs, manufactures and markets high-performance solar electric power technologies.
