Following the sudden and untimely death of actor and comedian Robin Williams on Monday, August 11, at age 63, several companies have found ways to remember and pay tribute to the great comedian.

Apple

In the company’s tradition of remembering recently deceased world figures, artists and members of the Apple family, Apple has dedicated a special featured iTunes section, called “Remembering Robin Williams” to a collection of his best work, ranging from classic comedy routines to movies. Apple has worked with Williams before, recently using a monologue from the movie "Dead Poets Society," in which he played English teacher John Keating, as a basis for the ongoing "Your Verse" iPad ad campaign. In addition, the front page of the Apple website is a tribute to Robin Williams with a black and white photo of Williams, his birth and death dates and saying simply, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity, and the gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed”.

Disney

Disney is also remembering Robin Williams, as his work with the company produced some of his best performances, including Aladdin. Disney CEO Robert Iger said that he was an incredible actor and a comedic genius and called him a true Disney legend and member of the family.

Reelz channel

Reelz channel has announced that the network will air two OK! TV-produced television specials, honoring the life and work of Robin Williams, on Friday, August 15th. "Robin Williams Remembered" (8pm ET/ 5pm PT)-OK! TV will celebrate the life and legacy of the actor and comedian including a look back at his stand-up comedy career which spanned nearly four decades and his work with Comic Relief and countless other charities throughout the years.

"Robin Williams ScreenLife" (8:30pm ET/ 5:30pm PT on Friday, August 15) will look back on Williams' on-screen career from his early days as the alien Mork in the TV series "Mork & Mindy" to the Oscar-nominated performance in "Good Morning, Vietnam" and his Oscar-winning performance in "Good Will Hunting".

Gamezone

Gamezone has a tribute to Robin Williams on their website ,which includes clips and photos from some of his great works. They stated that he had a special relationship with gamers, having made a commercial for Nintendo, and even naming his daughter Zelda. They illustrate some of the many ways Williams contributed with one -liners under pictures from his films such as “He helped us learn the importance of eating spinach. - Popeye, 1980”, “He made everyone wish they had a nanny like him. - Mrs. Doubtfire, 1993” and “He helped us realize not everything is our fault. - Good Will Hunting, 1997”.

ABC News

Finally ABC News' "20/20" celebrated the life of Robin Williams, with a special broadcast on August 12, which was entitled simply "The Life and Death of Robin Williams".

The broadcast aimed to update viewers with the latest news on his untimely death, and celebrate the many faces and voices that entertained everyone. It was anchored by David Muir and featured reporting from Juju Chang and Chris Connelly, as well as speaking to Barbara Walters who interviewed him many times over the years.
