The Clorox Company (NYSE: CLX) posted a drop in its lower fiscal second-quarter profit and cut its full-year outlook.Clorox's quarterly earnings declined to $115 million, or $0.87 per share, from $123 million, or $0.94 per share, in the year-ago period. Its earnings from continuing operations came in at $0.88 per share, while adjusted earnings came in at $0.90 per share.Its sales rose 0.4% to $1.33 billion, while overall sales volume surged 1%.Clorox shares fell 0.42% to $86.00 in pre-market trading.
