Wi-LAN (NASDAQ: WILN) announced that its Treehouse Avatar Technologies. Inc. ("Treehouse") subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Turbine, Inc. ("Turbine") related to avatar technology. As a result of this agreement, pending litigation between Treehouse and Turbine will be dismissed.Treehouse was established to license certain patent assets of a corporation founded by the inventors of this technology. A share of the licensing revenue generated will be paid to the inventors' corporation.
