Options traders are buying calls on the stock today, betting that it can rally from current levels. The August $15.00 call was purchased 1,000 times, on the offer, on open interest of 2,127 contracts and the November $15.00 call was purchased 500 times, on the offer, on open interest of 941 contracts. Call volume is now running at 8.63x the daily average. Tekelec is a global provider of communication network software and systems that enable its customers to deliver a range of communications services including voice, text messaging, and mobile data services.
