Tenet Healthcare posted a quarterly loss of $50 million, or $0.49 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $6 million, or $0.06 per share. Its earnings from continuing operations came in at $0.66 per share. Its revenue climbed 7% to $2.422 billion from $2.265 billion. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $0.69 per share on revenue of $2.424 billion.Tenet Healthcare shares closed at $44.66 yesterday.
