OfficeMax (NYSE: OMX) reported downbeat second-quarter results.OfficeMax posted a quarterly net loss of $10.0 million, or $0.12 per share, versus a year-ago net income of $10.7 million, or $0.12 per share. Excluding one-time items, it earned $0.02 per share, missing analysts' estimates of $0.03 per share.OfficeMax shares closed at $11.44 yesterday.
