Acacia Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTG) announced today that its Express Card Systems LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ). The settlement agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
