NEW YORK, June 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of rue21, Inc. ("rue21" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: RUE) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Apax Partners ("Apax").

On May 23, 2013, rue21 announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which the Company will be acquired by Apax. Under the terms of the agreement, rue21 shareholders will receive $42.00 in cash for each share owned.
