This is what Nic Chahine averages with his option buys. Not selling covered calls or spreads… BUYING options. Most traders don’t even have a winning percentage of 27% buying options. He has an 83% win rate. Here’s how he does it.
Shares of Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MO) are lower on the session by 1.63%, currently trading at $41.75. The stock has been drifting lower and lower for the past four months. MOS is nearing support around the $40.00 level. Options traders are favoring the call side today. Action can be seen on the $45.00 and $50.00 strikes in July, August, and September. Call volume is now running at 3x the daily average, but only 55% of all calls traded have been purchased on the offer. This gives mixed signals, insomuch as calls were both purchased and sold. The Mosaic Company is a producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients for the global agriculture industry. The company operates through business segments: Phosphates, Potash and Offshore.
