Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC) reported a 0.2% rise in its first-quarter profit.Omnicom's quarterly profit gained to $205.1 million, or $0.76 per share, from $204.6 million, or $0.72 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue increased 2.8% to $3.4 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.75 per share on revenue of $3.4 billion. Its operating margin narrowed to 10.9% from 11%. Omnicom's domestic revenue rose 4.2% to $1.79 billion, while international revenue increased 1.2% to $1.61 billion. Omnicom shares closed at $59.26 yesterday.
