BP Plc (NYSE: BP) reported upbeat fourth-quarter profit.BP's quarterly adjusted net profit declined to $3.984 billion, from $4.986 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were projecting a profit of $3.305 billion.BP shares rose 0.14% to $43.67 in after-hours trading.
