Disney (NYSE: DIS) unveiled Disney Infinity on Tuesday. The media conglomerate called Infinity not just one game, but an entire platform. The company said it planned to launch it in June across multiple platforms, including mobile.Like Activison's (NASDAQ: ATVI) Skylanders Giants, the game will incorporate an element of collectible physical toys. As the majority of Disney's intellectual property corresponds to a younger demographic, Disney Infinity could challenge Activision's Skylanders, which is also aimed at a younger demographic.
