With much anticipation, Ellison is officially launching its eagerly awaited Sizzix® Thinlits™ product line to join its expansive portfolio of die cutting and embossing products at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Winter 2013 trade show beginning Saturday, January 12, in Anaheim, California.

Thinlits are wafer-thin, chemically etched dies that will allow crafters to cut, emboss and stencil truly intricate designs for embellishing cards, scrapbooks or any papercrafting project. Thinlits empower individuals to use any one or all three great techniques for enhanced creativity.

For use in the Big Shot™, BIGkick™ and Vagabond™ machines, Thinlits are design driven with both simple and intricate designs. In addition to a Sizzix branded release, Thinlits will be offered in separate collaborations with the Echo Park Paper Co. and the Susan's Garden™ collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn™.

Thinlits complement the existing Framelits™ and Sizzlits™ product lines as a family of smaller, thinner dies that can be used together to add innovative embellishments to cards, mini albums, scrapbook pages and other papercrafting possibilities.

Patent-pending Framelits are wafer-thin, chemically etched dies that allow the consumer to see EXACTLY what they are cutting by moving the open aperture of the die right up to the cutting edge. This feature is perfect for registration of die designs for stamps, photographs and printed designs for any project from the simplest of cards to home décor and more. Select designs are also available with coordinating stamps or embossing folders for the most precise cuts around stamped or embossed images.

Sizzlits are chemically etched dies that allow crafters to cut beautiful designs with the least amount of effort for the maximum amount of fun. The plastic back makes for easy storage while the ejection foam ensures that after being cut the shape is easily removed from the die and ready to use. These dies are ideal for any craft or creative application.

“Thinlits offer an exciting new direction for the Sizzix brand,” said Susan Spiegel, Ellison's Vice President, Marketing Communications. “Crafters will be excited about the new designs and more intricate cuts they will be able to create. The possibilities are truly endless!”
