United Continental Holdings (NYSE: UAL) reported a 4% decline in its December total traffic.UAL's load factor widened to 82.4%, from 81.2%, in the year-ago period. Its total traffic fell to 16.21 billion revenue passenger miles, from 16.88 billion RPMs, in the year-ago period.For 2012, UAL's load factor rose 0.4 percentage point to 82.6%.UAL shares closed at $25.62 yesterday.
