Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [NYSE: SAI] today announced it was awarded a prime contract by the Naval Medical Logistics Command to provide operational medicine research modeling support to the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC). The single-award cost-plus fixed-fee (CPFF) contract has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options and a total contract value of approximately $13 million. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif.
