Pan American Silver (NASDAQ: PAAS) reported a 61% drop in its second-quarter earnings.It also lifted its quarterly dividend by 33% to $0.05 per share. Pan American's quarterly profit declined to $44 million, or $0.29 per share, versus $113.5 million, or $1.04 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding other items, Pan American earned $0.11 per share. Its revenue dropped 13% to $200.6 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.32 per share on revenue of $252 million.Pan American shares fell 1.66% to close at $15.38 yesterday.
