African Barrick Gold (OTC: ABGLY) reported a decline in its first half profit and production. However, the company projects production to increase in the second half. African Barrick's first half production declined 14% y/y to 297,742 ounces. Its revenue fell 8% y/y to $534 million.African Barrick's net profit dipped 46% to $65 million. Its EPS came in at 15.9 cents. African Barrick also proposed an interim dividend of 4.0 cents per share.
