German Linde AG (OTC: LNAGF) agreed to buy Lincare Holdings (NASDAQ: LNCR) for $4.6 billion. Linde will offer $41.50 per share, representing a 22% premium to Lincare shares closing price of $34.02 on Friday.The deal is likely to close in the third quarter of fiscal 2012.Lincare shares closed at $34.02 on Friday.
