NiSource Inc. (NYSE: NI) today announced that its finance subsidiary, NiSource Finance Corp., completed the sale of $250 million aggregate principal amount of 3.85% Notes due February 15, 2023, and $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.25% Notes due February 15, 2043, in an underwritten public offering. NiSource will fully and unconditionally guarantee NiSource Finance's obligations under the Notes.NiSource Finance intends to use the net proceeds of this issuance to repay short-term borrowings and for general corporate purposes.
