KMG Chemicals, Inc. (Nasdaq: KMGB) announced today it will transfer the listing of its common stock to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) from the NASDAQ Global Select Market (NASDAQ). The Company expects to begin trading on the NYSE on June 20, 2012 under the symbol “KMG”, but will continue to trade on NASDAQ until the transfer takes place. “KMG is a leading supplier of specialty chemicals to major semiconductor and industrial wood treating customers around the world,” said J. Neal Butler, President and CEO of KMG Chemicals. “KMG enjoyed 15 productive years listed on NASDAQ, which proved a valuable partner over the years. As the company continues to grow, we believe that NYSE Euronext, the world's largest stock exchange, will help broaden our visibility with our key suppliers, customers and peers.
