Assurant Raises Dividend To $0.21 from $0.18/share

Assurant, (NYSE: AIZ), announces that its board of directors has declared aquarterly dividend of $.21 per share of common stock. This represents a 17percent increase above the quarterly dividend of $.18 per share, declared onJan. 13, 2012. The dividend will be payable on June 12, 2012 to stockholdersof record as of the close of business on May 29, 2012. "We are pleased to announce the ninth dividend increase since Assurant wentpublic in 2004," said Robert B. Pollock, Assurant's president and CEO. "Theincreased dividend is a reflection of both our ability to generate strongcash flows and deliver on our commitment to create increased value for ourshareholders."
