Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) and Jotron AS will upgrade air-to-ground radios at the White Sands Missile Range as part of a five-year, $4 million U.S. Army Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to modernize the communications infrastructure that supports aerial missions at the range. The contract has a base period of one year with four option years. Under the first delivery order, Harris/Jotron is providing UHF and VHF digital radios for use in air traffic control communications supporting the range's manned and unmanned sites.
