(NASDAQ: NTSC) announced today that its National Quality Assurance USA subsidiary has been accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to certify private sector companies to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-selected standards under the voluntary Private Sector Preparedness Program called PS-Prep™, the first company in the U.S. to receive this approval. PS-Prep™ is a partnership between the DHS and the private sector with the goal of enhancing nationwide resilience in an all-hazards environment by requiring organizations to improve their disaster readiness and response capabilities. This past week, the DHS announced that NQA, USA completed the first audit under the PS-Prep program, awarding certification to AT&T's Corporate Business Continuity Planning (C-BCP) organization, a major milestone for the PS-Prep program.
