WPCS International Incorporated (NASDAQ: WPCS) has announced that it has received approximately $9 million in new contracts. The new contracts include projects to be completed for St. Luke's Hospital, Oxnard High School, Sutter Health, The Town of East Longmeadow, University of Rhode Island, Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company, Nassau County Police Department, Con Edison of New York, Bridgeton Fire Department, Narragansett County, Amherst Fire Department, Galloway Township Police Department, Holaday-Parks and Pitney Bowes. In Australia, new contracts were awarded for Goondir Health Clinic, Palmwoods Hotel, Helensvale Station, Cairns Depot, North Lakes State College and Wynnum Central Station. Jeffrey Voacolo, Executive Vice President of WPCS, commented, "WPCS continues to see a strong level of bid activity in public services and healthcare which is an indication that there are opportunities to obtain new project awards for our communication infrastructure services. Our focus is converting this bid activity to backlog that can be recognized as profitable revenue in the quarters ahead."
