Waccamaw Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: WBNK), the bank holding company for Waccamaw Bank, announced today that it received a non-compliance notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market stating that the company is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) because the company has not timely filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Company has received similar non-compliance notices from Nasdaq regarding its annual report on Form 10-K for 2010 and its quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for the first and second quarters of 2011.
