epay, a division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT) today announced a partnership with social games developer Zynga to enable consumers to purchase Zynga Game Cards through epay's cash load network. The service will be offered in 18 countries across Europe, making it the first time Zynga Game Cards will be available in many of these markets. Players of Zynga's popular games such as CityVille, FarmVille, Empires & Allies and Zynga Poker will be directed to purchase a Zynga Game Card for virtual goods within most games from one of epay's vast network of retail and kiosk locations. Available in smaller currency amounts, Zynga Game Cards provide players with an easy payment option and more choices for the amount they want to spend on virtual goods. epay retailers across Europe can now offer consumers an added value with an in-store bonus of a free virtual item with game card redemption. Additionally, through the partnership, retailers will be able to offer customized marketing promotions and discounts online and in-store.
