Humana Inc.'s (NYSE: HUM) Humana Cares division, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Humana today announced the national care center will add 300 employees this fall to handle the expansion of the company's national chronic care management programs. Humana Cares, which opened its doors in February 2009 with about 200 associates, will employ about 1,300 employees by year end. About 250 of the new positions will be located at the 75,000-square-foot national care center in St. Petersburg.
