At times, Apple has released the phone to both countries at the same time, and has also launched the phone in the U.S. first.According to the article, there is an internal Telus document that lists October 1st as the launch date for the phone. October 1st is a Saturday and Apple has never launched a product on a Saturday, almost always on a Thursday or Friday. Shares of Apple are down $5.25 to $391.50 as of the time of this writing.
