The metals market is much higher today, with silver and gold leading the way. Conversely, equities are lower, with all three indexes down slightly.Copper is up 1.55 cents to trade at $4.3180, a gain of 0.36%. Ipath Dow Jones Ubs Copper Total ETF (NYSE: JJC) is down 2 cents to $56.59. Silver is up 92 cents to $35.08, a gain of 2.7%, the largest gain among the metals complex. Shares of Ishares Silver Trust ETF (NYSE: SLV) are up $1.12 this morning, to trade at $34.12, a gain of 3.4%.Gold is up $27.90 an ounce to $1,510.50, a gain of 1.9%.Shares of Spdr Gold Trust ETF (NYSE: GLD) are up $2.14 to $147.07, a gain of 1.5%.Platinum is up $15.40 an ounce, trading at $1,741.70, a gain of nearly 1%.The platinum ETF settings First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index (NASDAQ: PLTM) is down 21 cents this morning to trade at $28.51.Palladium is up $11.20 an ounce today, trading at $774.20, a gain of 1.5%, and it looks as if $800 is the next level to fall. Shares of ETFS Physical Palladium Shares (NASDAQ: PALL) are sharply higher today, up $1.53 to $76.63.
