MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

KUSA-TV in Denver is the number one rated local NBC station through the first week of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Not only is KUSA-TV number one with total household viewing, KUSA-TV is also number one with Adults ages 25-54, a key advertising demographic. KUSA-TV is also out-performing the national average rating by 50%.

Including KUSA-TV, two other local Gannett NBC affiliate stations are among the Top 5 highest rated stations with the Adult 25-54 advertising demographic: KARE-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul is third and KSDK-TV in St. Louis fourth. WKYC-TV in Cleveland places eighth, giving Gannett NBC stations four of the top 10 stations with Adults 25-54.

Through the first week, Gannett NBC stations are up 20% in household ratings over the Torino Winter Olympics. WXIA in Atlanta is up 37% compared to Torino and WBIR in Knoxville is up 38%.
