The investigation focuses on whether the Company issued false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose information pertinent to investors. Danske announced its desire to pay back profits totaling $230 million earned through the Company's alleged role in a money laundering ring funneling money through Danske's Estonian office from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova. Based on this news, Danske's share price fell more than 9% on July 18, 2018.
