Obama touts new jobs plan

The president launched a $500 million advanced technology initiative between gov't, businesses and universities. The venture will invest public money in businesses producing batteries, composites, metal fabrication, biotechnology and alternative energy. Obama said the program will creating jobs and reinvigorate U.S. manufacturing.
