ROSELAND, N.J., May 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Novo Nordisk (NYSE:NVO) announced Tuesday the completion of the second phase 3a trial, PIONEER 2, with oral semaglutide, a once-daily oral formulation of the long-acting GLP-1 analog for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes, which utilizes Emisphere Technologies, Inc.'s ("Emisphere" or the "Company") (OTC:EMIS) proprietary Eligen® Technology.
