Shares of Hoku Corporation (NASDAQ: HOKU) are trading flat in the after-hours following the release of the company's Q4 earnings results. Shares ended the regular session higher by 6.49%, at $1.97. Hoku Corporation reported Q4 EPS of ($0.07) on revenues of $290,000. Revenue in fiscal 2011 and 2010 was derived primarily from photovoltaic, or PV, system installations and related services, the sale of electricity, and the resale of solar inventory.Scott Paul, chief executive officer of Hoku Corporation, said, "Our priorities in fiscal 2011 were, first to mitigate the schedule and budget uncertainties and risks to completing our Hoku Materials polysilicon production plant; second, to firmly establish our downstream Hoku Solar PV systems business; and, third, to enhance our management team and business processes as we become firmly integrated into the Tianwei Group and scale-up our operations.”Hoku Corporation, formerly Hoku Scientific, Inc. is a diversified clean energy technologies company with three business units: Hoku Materials, Hoku Solar and Hoku Fuel Cells. The company has three operating segments in two industries: Fuel Cell and Solar.
