NEW YORK, Dec. 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of The Asia Pacific Fund, Inc. (NYSE:APB) has declared a dividend of $0.61 per share of ordinary income (which includes a short-term capital gains distribution of $0.32 per share). The dividend is payable on January 5, 2018, to shareholders of record on December 22, 2017.

This dividend is to be paid in cash, except in the case of shareholders who have elected to participate in the dividend reinvestment plan.
