Chemtura Corporation (NYSE: CHMT) today announced it will increase production capacity for calcium sulfonate grease by 40 percent at its West Hill, Ontario, Canada facility in response to growing demand. The capacity increase is expected to come on stream by the end 2011.Calcium sulfonate grease is a premium technology of Chemtura's Petroleum Additives business used in wet, high-load, high-temperature applications in the marine, steel, paper, mining, construction, and food industries. This expansion reflects Chemtura's determination to meet the increasing demands of the marketplace and our customers for quality products and service into the future.
