On the 18 month anniversary of the release of Windows 7, Microsoft announced via its blog today that 350 million copies of Windows 7 have been sold to the public so far. If you were to do out the math, that equals to 19.4 million copies sold per month since launch, 648,148 per day, 27,000 copies per hour, or 450 copies per minute.

Microsoft states that roughly 90% of businesses are currently in the process of migrating to Windows 7 and that companies already using Windows 7 have seen an increase in savings. Microsoft launched a new webpage, entitled “Windows Customer Showcase,” today, which gives short excerpts from businesses who upgraded to Windows 7 on their computers and what has changed for them.

Are you using Windows 7? Or are you still on an older version of Windows?
